The XL cowrie shells are opened at the back, making them easy to attach. Due to the open back, the shells will hang straight down. Without an open back, they would hang obliquely and askew due to the natural shape of the shell.
The size of the shells is between 21 and 27 mm in length. The shells are a natural product, which means that color markings and sizes may differ slightly.
The shells are sold per 100 grams (= approximately 40 single shells).
