Rudraksha beads (also know as rudraksh) have an important role in Hinduism and it is believed that these prayer beads will bring the owner inner peace, mindfulness and protection against negative energy.
The holy Rudraksha seeds are also called 'Tears of Shiva'. They are natural fruits of the Elaeocarpus ganitrus tree, which grows in India, Nepal and in other parts of Asia. Each seed is divided in several 'compartments', which are called 'mukhi or mukha'. Our Rudraksha seeds have 5 mukhi, which is the holy number for representing Lord Shiva.
These bracelets consists of 25 natural Rudraksha beads. The beads are strung on a fine rope.
