Banarasi borders are the beautiful borders which are used to decorate the edges of Indian saree's. To make the Banarasi borders, fine yarn, silk or silk-like material (or a combination) is used to make embroidered or woven patterns, creating Oriental designs in stunning colors.
The origin of the art of making Banarasi borders is in the city of Varanasi.
Banarasi borders are ideal for any sewing project for clothing, bags, curtains or soft furnishing. Your imagination is the limit!
The Banarasi borders are sold per 50 cm (half meter).
Upon ordering, please select how many times you like to receive 50 cm. You will receive the border in 1 continuous piece.
For example: if you order 2 times 50 cm, then you will receive 1 long piece of 1 meter.
