Leather dog collar with traditional Indian zardosi embroidery

This dog collar is made of sturdy natural leather.

The upper side of the collar has been decorated with traditional zardosi embroidery.

Zardosi work is an ancient embroidery type, using a combination of copper wire, with a golden or silver polish, and silk thread. In the embroidery there are often stones, beads and sequins incorporated, creating stunning Oriental and floral patterns.

All the embroidery work is done by hand by skilled craftsmen, spending many days working on 1 garment.

Under the embroidery work are 5 large golden tassels, giving the collar a royal and distinctive look.

The collar is closing with a metal belt buckle.

We recommend to use protective leather spray (similar as for leather shoes) before first use to keep the leather soft and protected.
