Natural Cowrie shells have been added to a strip of simple black cotton fabric. Multiple antique coins are attached in the forehead area.
In the center of the forehead (and hanging over the nose) is an antique coin with miniature bells and on each side one tassel with Cowrie shells in a floral pattern.
The headdress can be adjusted by tying the strings.
These headdresses can be combined with our Cowrie anklets and Cowrie bracelets to have a matching set.
