This vest is made of Indian boiled wool and is set with suede frills and faux fur in the neck area.
Boiled wool is a woven or knitted fabric that has been shrunk and thickened by heating/boiling water. This process is also called felting. After the wool has been boiled, it is dried by heat and steam. Due to the cooking process, the fibers of the wool become more dens so that the fabric will block cold wind.
Boiled wool has a warm and rich appearance and the wool will not give an itchy feeling due to the cooking process.
The fabric is made by hand and afterwards embroidered highlights have been added.
