A chitral coat or choogha coat is a traditional Afghan coat. It can be worn by both men and women. It is mostly used inside the house or for a quick task outdoors. Also children can wear it, for boys or girls.
A chitral coat has traditionally no buttons for closing; it is mostly worn hanging open or closed with the waistband. The coat has 2 pockets and has full lining.
This chitral coat is made from very soft fabric based on wool and is richly embroidered.
This chitral coat is made by traditional weaving and embroidery techniques. Minor difference in size, color and pattern may occur.
