Vintage one of a kind wooden spice jar from northern Afghanistan

One of a kind wooden spice jar from northern Afghanistan, which is an amazing piece of folk art.

The jar has been decorated with tribal elements, like decorative nails, metal tassels and bells.

The jar is closed by a metal cap, which can be locked with a padlock (padlock not included).


Size: 24 cm high x 6.5 cm diameter approx.
Age: 1950's - 1960's
Origin: northern Afghanistan
