Choli tops are the top parts traditional Afghan dresses. Characteristic are the short body and the very long sleeves. The sleeves used to be worn as puff sleeves and have heavily decorated cuffs.
This antique choli top is decorated with embroidery and some miniature beads and 4 tikka patches on the chest part. The shoulders are set with Afghan tribal embroidery.
You can wear the tops or you can use the material for a (sewing) project. The garments will look stunning as a colorful accent on the wall, hanging on a piece of driftwood or beautiful branch. The garments can also be framed or placed on a mannequin.
The choli top is about 30 to 40 years old and have been worn, but is in excellent condition.
