A chitral coat or choogha coat is a traditional Afghan coat. It can be worn by both men or women. It is mostly used inside the house or for a quick task outdoors.
A chitral coat has traditionally no buttons for closing; it is mostly worn hanging open or closed with the waistband. The coat has 2 pockets, similar to a European dressing gown.
This chitral coat is made from fine combed/kempt wool and is richly decorated with white embroidery and colorful accents. This chitral coat has full lining.
This chitral coat is made by traditional weaving and embroidery techniques. Minor difference in size, color and pattern may occur.
