This amazing skirt is between 30 and 50 years old and was made by Kuchi or Pashtun people in the Afghani-Pakistani border region.

The skirt is fully embroidered in bright colors and was to be worn on a special occasion, like a wedding or to perform with tribal dances.

The skills of making this kind of embroidery and skirts was lost in time, making this well preserved beauty a unique and valuable object.

Although the skirt is in very good condition, some reparations are needed, especially when you like to wear it. To preserve the beauty of this antique object and its dusty patina, we did not wash, clean nor repair it! If you will wear the skirt, we strongly recommend dry cleaning.

Size: all sizes are approx.

  • waist: 42 cm - not adjustable
  • length of the skirt: 77 cm

Color: fuchsia red

Origin: Afghanistan

This is an antique artisanal object; minimal deviation in size, pattern and color may occur.
