Made of sturdy green cotton-wool mix fabric and finished with a modest silver trim, this stunning Turkmen ceremonial coat, also called bridal coat, is completely set with embossed metal applications.
On the sides, the coat has an elaborate embroidered Oriental pattern.
The ceremonial coat is worn open and has therefore no buttons, hooks, nor belt.
The inside is lined with blue-red cotton fabric with a floral print.
This coat has no side pockets.
This is a vintage coat, dated from the 1970's. The coat is in excellent condition, but some light signs of age and use may be noticeable.
This rarely seen object can still be worn. Due to the high decorative value, the coat may also become a magnificent decorative object.
